Tractor Trailer Accident in Monticello

The roads are slick out there today as the snow is coming down at a pretty good clip in parts of Aroostook County.

A tractor trailer traveling north on Route 1 in Monticello slid off the road shortly after 11am Friday, reducing traffic down to one lane.

The Aroostook County Sheriff's Department and the Department of Transportation were on scene helping direct traffic around the accident. A tow truck is on site now as well.

The Monticello Fire Department says there were no injuries. It is not known at this time if there were any other vehicles involved. We'll have more information as it becomes available.
