The Town of Woodstock along with the Woodstock Rotary Club have been working diligently to develop three major projects in the area and will soon host an opening of three major capital projects.

This significant event will be held at the Ayr Motor Centre in Woodstock on Monday, July 27th at 12:00 noon.

These three major project were developed with financial assistance provided by the Atlantic Canada Opportunities Agency and Province of New Brunswick. They are as follows:

  • The L.P. Fisher Public Library received a 2.2 million dollar expansion that more than doubled its size, creating additional capacity for both regular and special collections and space for displays and public usage (meetings and events).

  • The Woodstock High School Theatre was updated with new seating, sound and light systems, dressing rooms, black box theatre area and storage space.  This 2.1 million dollar expansion makes the High School Theatre a true “Community Theatre”.

  • The Ayr Motor Centre received a major expansion with the addition of a new Field House and expanded Community Room/Lounge area and Fitness Centre.  This component is valued at 11 million dollars.
