
Three Arrested after Drive-By Shooting & Standoff in Maine
Three people were taken into custody Tuesday after a drive-by shooting and standoff in Lewiston.
House Surrounded during Standoff
Police surrounded a house at 25 Elm Street around 5 pm after shots were reported fired on Pine Street two hours earlier.
Drive-by Shooting
Officers were responding to reports of a SUV firing shots at several men in a drive-by shooting near Webb’s Market, according to the Sun Journal.
Three People Arrested
One suspect surrendered to officers at the scene. Two more people inside the residence were apprehended.
Armored Vehicles and Crisis Negotiation Team
Armored vehicle and the Maine State Police Crisis Negotiation Team were on the scene.
Active Investigation
No injuries were reported. The investigation remains open and is ongoing.
