John Densmore, drummer for legendary recording artists The Doors is scheduled to be in Maine later this week to participate in Record Store Day.

Densmore will be making an appearance at the Bull Moose in Scarborough this Saturday April, 20 to help promote his new book “The Doors: Unhinged (Jim Morrison’s Legacy Goes on Trial).” This book tour is going to be different from other tours he has done in the past, says Densmore, because he intends to visit local music stores this time around rather than traditional bookstores.

The new book, which details Densmore’s fierce legal battles with Ray Manzerek and Robby Krieger regarding the legacy of The Doors and deceased frontman Jim Morrison, will be released this week with a book signing tour beginning in the great state of Maine.

The book signing will coincide will Record Store Day, which has become an internationally recognized event started six years ago by Chris Brown from Bull Moose.
