UPDATE:

TAMC's North Street Healthcare facility has reopened.  Through the efforts of Emera Maine, partial power is now in place. The Walk-In Care clinic and the lab at North Street are open at this time. Family Practice & Internal Medicine and Aroostook Pediatrics will begin seeing scheduled patients at the facility at noon.

ORIGINAL STORY:

TAMC’s North Street Healthcare facility does not have power this morning. This affects Walk-In Care, Family Practice & Internal Medicine, Aroostook Pediatrics and the lab at North Street.

While Emera Maine works on the issue, the hospital is working to accommodate patient care as best as possible.

Patient appointments are cancelled for the morning at Family Practice & Internal Medicine. Walk-In Care is being redirected to the TAMC Emergency Department. Pediatric providers will be seeing patients at the Caribou Health Center to accommodate the acute needs of children.

All lab work will take place at the hospital for the morning. A generator is providing electricity to County Dialysis Center and care there is continuing uninterrupted.

The expectation is that the facility will reopen by noon.
