State Police say the bodies of a husband and wife have been discovered inside their home early this afternoon and both appeared to be shot.

State Police have confirmed the deaths of 60-year-old Thomas Masse and 59-year-old Michelle Masse, both of Temple, Maine - a short distance from Farmington.
Troopers were called to the home this morning after a 911 call was received from the man at the home who was threatening to shoot himself.
The State Police tactical team and negotiators arrived late morning and efforts to communicate with the couple were not successful.
The bodies were discovered by members of the tactical team who entered the home about 12:30 pm.
Evidence technicians and detectives will work into the night gathering evidence from inside the home.
The State Medical Examiner's Office will conduct autopsies on the bodies Wednesday at their offices in Augusta.
Thomas Masse worked at Collins Enterprises in Wilton and Michelle worked at the Colonial Valley Motel in Farmington.
