An arrest warrant had been issued for 44-year-old Ellisha Krutuleski, owner of Coastal Dreams Rescue and Sanctuary in Bucksport in early August, according to WVII-TV. Complaints in that warrant included six counts of aggravated cruelty to animals and one count of cruelty to animals. There have been no recent updates on her case.
Since then, the dogs have been on the road to recovery thanks to several amazing community members and shelters and will hopefully be adopted in the near future. Before that can happen, these 4-legged cuties need more healthcare in order to guarantee a full recovery.
