RCMP Seek to Identify Driver in Chipman Hit and Run
The RCMP is asking for the public's help in identifying the driver of a pickup truck believed to have been involved in a hit-and-run early Saturday in Chipman.
Police say a car parked on Main Street in Chipman was struck by a pickup around 5 a.m. The truck then left the scene.
The vehicle is described as a 2013 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 4X4 single cab. The truck is believed to be dark in colour with silver aluminum wheels, sidesteps and a silver metal tool box in the bed. It would likely have scratches or dents on the right front bumper.
Anyone who may have information on the truck or its driver is asked to contact the Minto Detachment of the RCMP at (506) 327-1820.
