Presque Isle Kiwanis Club Hosts “Saving Our Businesses” Community Forum

(Presque Isle)--The Presque Isle Kiwanis Club is inviting the public to attend a community forum event Thursday, February 26th at the Presque Isle Middle School from 6-8PM.

The forum "Saving Our Businesses" will bring together business, civic and economic development leaders along with the general public to discuss important issues impacting the county community including recent business closings, youth out migration, unemployment, ways to grow the county community economy and other developments. The event will include panelists from the local business and community sector coming together to have a frank discussion about what's happening in this region economically and ways to improve upon it. There will also be an opportunity to hear questions and comments from the attending public. The hope is to have an open dialogue whereas to make a positive impact going forward.

Although no finite resolution will come out of this forum discussion, hopefully IT WILL result in some brainstorming and ideas with a positive approach in how to proceed moving forward.
