Police Still Searching for Missing 14-Year-Old New Sweden Girl
Police are continuing to search for a 14-year-old New Sweden girl who has been missing since September 23.
New Sweden Girl still Missing
Stefanie Damron was last seen leaving her house on foot and walking into the woods on the West Road in New Sweden.
Maine State Police and FBI Searching
“Maine State Police Troop F and the Major Crimes Unit North began investigating the circumstances surrounding Stefanie’s disappearance. The Major Crimes Unit North also collaborated with the Maine State Police Computer Crimes Unit (CCU) and the FBI’s Child Abduction Rapid Deployment Team (CARD) to ensure that all resources were utilized in finding Stefanie,” said Shannon Moss, Public Information Officer, Maine Department of Public Safety.
Investigation includes Maine, Canada and Nation
Damron is still missing after an extensive investigation. Wardens and K9 have searched large areas around New Sweden. Police have also interviewed multiple people and followed leads in Maine, Canada and nationally.
Missing Girl’s Description
Stefanie Damron is 5’0” and weighs 130 lbs. She has brown, shoulder-length hair. Damron was last seen wearing blue jeans, Harley Davidson hiking boots and a blue long sleeve shirt.
