In addition, Robert Brewer was charged with two counts of Class B burglary, one class B theft, one class C theft and a Class B theft of firearms.

One burglary occurred on Route 2 in New Limerick in November, and among the items stolen were several firearms and a canoe, Crandall said. The second burglary took place in Moro in September, and the items stolen included a truck, tractor, a car, a trailer and a storage shed. Deputies have recovered many of the stolen items, and have been actively looking for Robert Brewer to charge him.

Cody Brewer has been released on bail, while Robert remains behind bars. Because of the numerous charges, he has several different bails and there is also a probation hold on him.

Sheriff’s Deputies involved in the burglary investigations were Vance Palmer, Erica Pelletier and Stewart Kennedy. Trooper Adam Bell also responded to New Limerick on Sunday to assist Deputy Kennedy with the arrest and transportation of the brothers.

Robert Brewer faces up to ten years in prison if convicted of the most serious offenses.
