Man Seriously Injured after Tractor-Trailer Crash in Maine
A 24-year-old man was thrown from a work truck and was seriously injured after a tractor-trailer crash Tuesday on I-95 in Newport.
Man Hit on I-95 Placing Cones
The Maine State Police said the crash happened around 2:25 pm as Northeast Paving was placing cones on the highway for an evening paving project.
Tractor Trailer Hit Truck
The tractor-trailer carrying recycled paper was driven by 38-year-old Boureima Dicko of Allentown, Pennsylvania. Charles Miller of Enfield was hit and thrown from his truck.
Serious Injuries
Miller had serious injuries and was taken to Eastern Maine Medical Center in Bangor. Dicko was not injured.
Ongoing Investigation
The crash is under investigation with more information to be released.
