Man Charged with Aggravated Assault after Stabbing in Maine
A 37-year-old man was arrested Wednesday and charged with Elevated Aggravated Assault after a stabbing in Portland.
Arrested after Stabbing
The Portland Police Department said Christopher Hodgkins was taken into custody around 6:04 am in the area of Cumberland Avenue and Preble Street.
Man Cut on Hand
A 41-year-old man had a laceration on his hand and was taken to Maine Medical Center for treatment. He was later released.
Additional Charge
Hodgkins was also charged with Violating Conditions of Release.
