38-Year-Old Man Arrested & Charged with Drug Trafficking in Maine

A 38-year-old man was arrested early Thursday morning and charged with aggravated drug trafficking after a traffic stop in Old Orchard Beach.

Suspect Arrested and Drugs Found in Vehicle

The Old Orchard Police Department said Joshua Poissant from Arundel was stopped around 12:50 am.

Police seized Large Amount of Drugs and Suspected Drug Proceeds

He was out on bail and officers searched his vehicle. Police seized over 32 grams of crack cocaine, plus $16,074 in cash and suspected drug proceeds.

Man with Priors Faces Multiple Charges Including Aggravated Drug Trafficking

Poissant was charged with Aggravated Drug Trafficking and two counts of violating conditions of release.

Taken to County Jail and Booked as Investigation Remains Open

He was transported to the York County Jail and was booked on the charges. The investigation is ongoing.
