Where's Your Name This Year, on Santa's Nice or Naughty List?
Christmas is a ways off, but now is the time to think about which of Santa's list your name is going to fall on. Have you been nice? Or have you been naughty? Is there any reason at all why your name should appear on the naughty list? Did you fail to hold a door for another person, refuse to help a coworker with a project, or do some other less-than-considerate act that could give you the naughty label?

If you answered yes to any of these questions, don't panic. You still have time to turn this around and convince Santa that you've been nice. But it will take some unselfish thinking-of-others type actions. There are some simple things you could do like washing the dishes without being asked, cleaning your room, or picking up the tab at dinner with a friend. But those may not be enough to put you on the right list. So we came up with some ideas that are guaranteed (okay, not really) to take you off the bad list and onto the good.
Many Charitable Organizations Could Use Your Help in Continuing Their Mission
Most of these suggestions deal with charitable organizations and I've used Bangor-area charities as examples. If you're not in the Greater Bangor area, a quick Google search will help you find similar outlets in your region. Or you could call 211 or log onto their website to find services in your area. Do something good for someone else and imagine your name being erased from the naughty list and written in beautiful handwriting on the Nice list.
