Madawaska Police Looking for Owner of a Baggie of Marijuana

This was the post visitors to the Madawaska Police Department's Facebook page saw on Sunday.

"If you've lost a baggie of marijuana at the Rite Aid store, please give us a call. We would like to speak with you."

Even though no one has come in to claim the pot, the post received more than 100,000 views. The department thanked everyone "for all the great and funny feedback" that the post generated. The department put up the post not only to raise awareness, but to add some humor on the situation.

According to the Bangor Daily News, the small bag was found near the cash register on Sunday when the store opened.
