Local Contingent at Rock Hall of Fame Induction Ceremonies
The Class of 2019 held its induction ceremonies into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame this past Friday night and people from Aroostook County and, even Townsquare Media, were on hand.
Janet Brewer, a hairdresser from Aroostook County, her sister Kelly and Townsquare Media Bangor Engineer Andy Soule made the trek to the Barclays Center in Brooklyn to catch the ceremony. Janet, a Def Leppard MEGA FAN, provided some of the pictures shown here.
Also inducted into this year's Rock Hall class were Stevie Nicks, Janet Jackson, The Zombies, Radiohead, The Cure and Roxy Music.
Def Leppard took the stage and launched into a parade of their biggest hits -- the title track to "Hysteria," "Rock of Ages," "Photograph," then "Pour Some Sugar on Me."
They were then joined by Queen's Brian May,who inducted Def Leppard, members of the Zombies, Susanna Hoffs of the Bangles and Ian Hunter for an all-star rendition of Mott the Hoople's "All the Young Dudes."
