L.L. Bean Bootmobile Set to Visit Aroostook County

You may have seen the oversize Bean Boot driving down the road in the past, and you were have always wanted to get an up close and personal view of the sweet ride, right? Good news! The L.L. Bean Bootmobile will be in the County over the next few days!

The Bootmobile will be making stops throughout the County, visiting outdoor events and venues starting Thursday, February 6th. Residents and outdoor enthusiasts will get the chance to take pictures with the larger-than-life version of the outdoor retailer’s most iconic product, as it will be in the County until Tuesday, February 11th.

Since 2012 the Bootmobile has been visiting cities and parks across the country, inspiring people to get outdoors. During 2014 the journey continues as the Bootmobile delivers the “Discover Something” message.

• Thursday, February 6th it will be at Big Rock Ski Area in Mars Hill from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m.

•  Friday, February 7th it will be at the UMPI Winter Carnival in Presque Isle from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
• Friday, February 7th it will be at the Nordic Heritage Center in Presque Isle from 2:45 p.m. to  4:45 p.m.
•  Friday, February 7th it will be at Quoggy Jo Ski Center in Presque Isle from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.

• Saturday, February 8th it will be at the Aroostook Youth Ski Festival/Ski Sprints in Caribou from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

• Sunday, February 9th it will be at the 10th Mountain Ski Center in Fort Kent from : 9 a.m. to 11 a.m.
• Sunday, February 9th it will be at Lonesome Pines Ski Area in Fort Kent from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.

• Monday, February 10th it will be at the UMFK Winter Carnival in Fort Kent from : 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
• Monday, February 10th it will be at the Four Seasons Lodge & Trail Association in Madawaska from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m.

• Tuesday, February 11th it will be at Aroostook State Park in Presque Isle from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m.
