A 43-year-old man pleaded guilty Tuesday to drug trafficking in Aroostook County and Penobscot County.

Guilty Plea in Large drug Case in Northern Maine

Aaron Rodgers from Bangor was charged with his role in a conspiracy to distribute and possess with intent to distribute methamphetamine and fentanyl.

21 Defendants Charged in the Drug Case

Twenty-one defendants have been charged in the case. Eight people have pleaded guilty and 10 others have already been sentenced.

Trafficked Meth and Fentanyl

Rodgers and others in the conspiracy trafficked meth and fentanyl in Penobscot and Aroostook Counties and elsewhere between January 2018 and December 2021. Court records said “Rodgers knowingly and intentionally joined and participated in the conspiracy.”

  • James King (54, Caribou) – 165 months
