Let's be honest. We all wonder what our coworkers are making compared to us. Don't tell me you've never thought about it. But what if we looked at salaries not of our coworkers, but of the New England states in general? I bet there'll be some jealousy with those numbers.

Forbes did the research and was able to calculate the average salary for every state in the country. But do we care what people in other states that we don't neighbor are making? Nah. We want to see which of our fellow New England states are making the big bucks.

This list came out about as I expected it would. However, I was surprised at the size of some of these numbers. Let's go right out of the gate with the state making the most in New England, and also holding another title for average salary.
