Tuesday, September 5th was a scorcher! It was one of the hottest days of the summer, and of course it happened with everyone back in school! How hot was it?

Today's high temperature at Caribou was 86 degrees. This tied the record for September 5th set back in 1983. The high today in Millinocket was 90 degrees. This broke the old record high of 85 set back in 1961.
