What Was Happening When the Gun Was Displayed?

A heated dispute between two people resulted in members of the Penobscot County Sheriff's Office being called to the area of River Road and Snow's Corner Road in Orrington just after 9:00 Wednesday night. The caller said they had allegedly witnessed a dispute between two people. The caller said they saw two men arguing and that one of the men had allegedly pulled a gun on the other. Both of the men left the area without reporting the incident.

Did Deputies Find the Men Involved?

When Deputies arrived, they gathered information about the people involved. Both men were then located. Officials say it was the result of a dispute and are commenting beyond that, as this is an ongoing investigation.

Is the Public in Any Danger?

The names of the men involved have not been released or any information about the reason for the dispute. There's no indication of any injuries.

The Penobscot County Sheriff's Office says this appears to be an isolated incident and that the public is not in any danger.
