A 24-year-old wanted gang member has been apprehended by U.S. Marshals in Bethel.
Wanted Gang Member Arrested in Maine
Yonaidry Lascano Rosario is a known member of the Trinitarios Gang. He had several warrants for his arrest and was a fugitive from justice.
Multiple Charges
Rosario was wanted on multiple charges including Assault to Murder (Armed), Accessory After the Fact, Assault and Battery with Dangerous Weapon, Assault with Dangerous Weapon, and Firearm Carry without License.
Months-Long Investigation
After a months-long investigation, Marshals located him in Bethel and set up surveillance and leads.
Residence Surrounded
A Federal Task Force surrounded a residence where he was staying and ordered him to surrender. He was taken into custody as a fugitive from justice. He will be extradited to Massachusetts.
Firearms and Drugs Seized
A search warrant was also executed and agents seized firearms and drugs.
U.S. Marshals and Trinitarios Gang
U.S. Marshals said the goal of the Trinitarios Gang is to dominate communities by intimidating rival gangs to control neighborhoods with violence, including murder.
