Flagger Nearly Run Over in Kennebunk

0n Thursday afternoon, Adam Burgess caught something on video he couldn't believe he witnessed.

Adam was on his way to pick up his kids from school and ran into construction on Summer Street in Kennebunk.

He's just sitting there in traffic and heard yelling. That's when he grabbed his camera. At the end of the video you can hear him telling the flaggers that he got it all on video! This is absolute craziness.

According to the Portland Press Herald, 40-year-old Shannon Carey was found not long after and charged with reckless conduct with a dangerous weapon. He should be in court next month.

Construction is an every day occurrence in Maine. Yes it's annoying, yes it will delay you and NO you never have to get anywhere so badly you are willing to run over a flagger.

It's truly a miracle she was able to NOT get run over! (Also, bonus points - never let go of her sign!)
