Five People Escaped & One Injured after Fire in Maine
Five people escaped and one person was hospitalized after a fire Saturday night at a Hammond Street apartment building in Bangor.
Smoke Coming out of the Apartment Building
The blaze started around 12 am. Firefighters arrived at the scene to find smoke coming out of a third floor window, said WABI News.
Man on Top Floor Burned and Taken to the Hospital
One person on the top floor of the building was injured with burns on his hands and taken to the hospital.
Fire Investigation
The cause of the fire is under investigation. Officials said it does not appear to be suspicious.
