
Six People Charged with Drug Trafficking & Possession in Maine
Six people were arrested and face multiple drug charges after a traffic stop and search at a residence in Westbrook.
Vehicle and Residence Search
The Westbrook Police Department said an officer pulled over a vehicle after seeing drug activity outside a Brackett Street residence. Narcotics were found in the car and the residence was also searched.
Drugs Seized
Police seized 61 grams of fentanyl and 2 grams of meth during the investigation.
Six Arrested and Charged
Six people were arrested including 46-year-old Sara Dymond and 45-year-old Christopher Cavallaro. Both were charged with aggravated drug trafficking and violation of conditions of release.
Unlawful Drug Possession
Also taken into custody was 32-year-old Saddiq Ali who was charged with unlawful drug possession, failure to provide correct name, and violation of conditions of release.
Three more people were charged with unlawful drug possession was 37-year-old Daniel Beasang, 26-year-old Jordan Madsen and 25-year-old Erica Mathies.
Ongoing Drug Investigation
All six were arrested and taken to the Cumberland County jail. The investigation is active and ongoing.
