Creed, 3 Doors Down and Mammoth WVH Are Heading To Bangor
It might be some months off at the moment, but there's definitely buzz building around the latest announcement made this week by Waterfront Concerts about a show taking place at the Cross Insurance Center at the end of November.
Florida-based Creed and Mississippi-based 3 Doors Down will be playing with L.A.-based Mammoth WVH (that's Eddie Van Halen's son) in Bangor on Saturday, November 30th.
Best known for songs like "Arms Wide Open", "One Last Breath" and "Higher", Creed released 3 hugely successful albums in the late '90s as the grunge movement started to lose momentum.
They announced they were hitting the road with 3 Doors Down for their "Summer of 99 Tour" via that band's website earlier this year.
3 Doors Down had hits with their singles "Kryptonite", "When I'm Gone" and "Here Without You," to name a few.
The tour kicks off in April in Miami, Florida. Then the bands will make their way all across the U.S.
And while guests on the other legs of the tour will include Daughtry, Switchfoot, Tonic, and Finger Eleven, here in Maine, the tour will feature another impressive offering that's a little more on the modern side, with roots that go deep into Rock n Roll.
Mammoth WVH is the brainchild of Wolfgang Van Halen, son of the late Eddie Van Halen. He put the band together when he was working with his dad's band.
The band released their second album, Mammoth II last August.
Tickets for the show will go on sale at this link, this coming Friday, February 9th at 10 AM, with the presale starting Thursday the 8th at 10 AM.
The Presale code for the show is: WFC2024
