Three Charged with Drug Trafficking after Home Invasion in Maine
Three men were arrested Saturday and charged with Aggravated Drug Trafficking after a home invasion in Livermore Falls.
911 Call was Disconnected and Police Responded
The Livermore Falls Police Department said a 911 call was disconnected after the caller asked for assistance.
Home Invasion In Progress
Officers responded to the address of the call and found a home invasion in progress.
Men Forced Entry and Assaulted One Person with a Weapon
The men “forced their way into the residence and physically assaulted a resident with dangerous weapons,” according to Livermore Falls PD.
One Man Arrested and Two Men Fled on Foot
One suspect was apprehended at the scene and two men fled on foot. The Androscoggin County Sheriff’s Office was called to assist.
Suspects Located at Nearby Residence
Deputies were dispatched to a local residence associated with the three men.
Drugs and Money Seized
Police searched the residence and seized 203.3 grams of drugs with an estimated street value of $30,000. Approximately $8,000 in suspected drug proceeds were also confiscated.
Drone Used to Locate Man Hiding in Woods
A drone was deployed to locate a suspect who fled the residence and was hiding in the nearby woods.
Three Men Face Multiple Charges
Three men from New York, 25-year-old Daniel Gala, 25-year-old Joshua Washington and 25-year-old KaShaun Santiago, were charged with Aggravated Drug Trafficking, Burglary, Aggravated Assault, Aggravated Criminal Mischief.
Active and Ongoing Investigation
More charges are expected as the investigation is ongoing.
