
Man Charged with Bank Robbery after Fleeing from Police in Maine
A 46-year-old man was arrested Tuesday afternoon and charged with bank robbery at Maine Family Credit Union in Lewiston.
Facing Multiple Charges Including Robbery
Donald White was taken into custody and faces charges for Robbery, Theft by Unauthorized Taking and Violating Conditions of Release.
Man Entered Credit Union and Demanded Money from the Teller
The Lewiston Police Department said White entered the credit union around 3:30 pm and demanded cash from a teller.
Search Included Drone and Police K-9 Team
Police and the Maine Drug Enforcement Agency launched an extensive search for him with a drone and a K-9 team.
Suspect Arrested and Transported to County Jail
White was located and apprehended. He was transported to the Androscoggin County Jail and booked on the charges.
Ongoing Bank Robbery Investigation
The investigation remains open as police look for additional information and evidence.
