Two men are accused of shooting a BB gun out of a van, hitting several vehicles and one person.

Where Did This Take Place?

A shooting spree that spanned three communities last week has landed two men with felony charges. The incident involved property damage in Gorham, Buxton, and possibly Scarborough, and personal injury to a person in Buxton.

What Happened?

Gorham Police were investigating a series of reports of two people, believed to be minors, shooting a BB gun out of a white van when a similar call came into the Buxton Police Department. While the damage in Gorham and possibly Scarborough was limited to vehicles, particularly the vehicles' windows, the incident on Turkey Lane in Buxton involved a pedestrian who was hit in the hand with a BB just after 10:30 Monday night, September 25th. Witnesses described a white E350 van identical to the one being sought in Gorham, with a green stripe down the side and black spray-painted rocker panels.

Who Was Arrested?

After an extensive investigation, arrest warrants were issued for Rajah Al-Mosawi and Travis Mosely. They are charged as follows:

  • Rajah Al-Mosawi, 20, of Hollis is charged with aggravated assault and reckless conduct with a dangerous weapon.
  • Travis Mosely, 19, of Buxton is charged with being an accomplice to aggravated assault, and reckless conduct with a dangerous weapon.

All of the charges against the men are Class B or C felonies.
