Arrest Made in Enfield Robbery
Detectives from the Penobscot County Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigative Division have made an arrest in the robbery of a credit union.

Arrested were Edward Cooney, 56, of Etna and his son Christopher Cooney 30, also of Etna for the robbery that occurred on March 28 at the Penobscot County Federal Credit Union in Enfield.

In addition to the robbery charge, Christopher Cooney was arrested for violation of probation.Both are being held at the Penobscot County Jail on a charge of Robbery – Class B.
During the course of the investigation, authorities seized the vehicle that was involved in the robbery.
