Arcade Fire fans may get some new music from the band in 2017 — but first, they can look forward to the release of some audiovisual projects.

The band has announced the imminent release of The Reflektor Tapes/Live at Earls Court, a combo package that puts the band's 2015 documentary together with a new concert film recorded during the Reflektor Tour in 2014. Scheduled to arrive on Jan. 27, the title will be available on DVD and Blu-ray.

The Reflektor Tapes/Live at Earls Court offers fans an opportunity to own the Reflektor Tapes film on physical media a little more than a year after it made its home market debut via Vimeo On Demand. Billed as a movie that "recontextualizes the album experience, transporting the viewer into a kaleidoscopic sonic and visual landscape," it follows the band through the sessions for 2013's Reflektor LP, continuing through the record's release and subsequent tour.

The Earls Court film, meanwhile, presents a more traditional view of the Arcade Fire concert experience; recorded during their June 2014 stop at the titular venue, it can be sampled via the pre-release clip of "Reflektor" embedded above.

The group is currently lining up live dates for 2017 — as previously reported, they'll headline the Isle of Wight Festival in June — while continuing work on their next studio album. While cautioning that there's "no definite schedule" and saying it'll be "done when it's done," multi-instrumentalist Will Butler revealed earlier this year that they were likely looking to the spring for the new LP's release.
