So I'm looking ahead at the forecast and even though I think it's going to end up being rain, they are saying a 'chance of snow' through the weekend. I've seen a ton of complaints all over social media about how miserable everyone is because of the amount of snow and how long winter seems to be hanging on. It is the last day of March for Pete's sake. I'll admit, I'm one of those complaining. So why do we stay?

We know that we have long winters and short summers. Is it a small price to pay for the quality of life here in our neck of the woods? I know that, for the most part, you won't find a better work ethic than those that have been raised here. I know that I love raising my kids here and I do like having all the seasons, even if there are varying degrees of all seven: winter, mud, spring, Black Fly, fall and winter. Somewhere in there, if you close your eyes tight, you might find a hint of summer too.

Do you have family here that you don't want to leave? Do you enjoy where you work? Are you staying for the kids schooling? Why is it that you are here? Call the show at 764-ROCK or tell us on Facebook.
