With the opening of two new schools in New Brunswick, some students in Carleton County will not be heading back to class today after March break. March break will be extended by three days for students from Debec and Southern Carleton Elementary as teachers and staff make the move to the new school in the area and get settled in.

CARIBOU – Today Rep. Carol McElwee (R-Caribou), Caribou Chief of Police Michael Gahagan and Aroostook County Sheriff Darrell Crandall toured the Caribou Head Start Center and urged lawmakers from across Maine to make investments in early childhood a budget priority in the coming months.
