A 22-year-old Perham man is behind bars after police say he supplied drugs to a Caribou man who died from an overdose.

The Caribou Police Department and the Maine Drug Enforcement Agency arrested Hans Jenson on Dec. 4  for Aggravated Unlawful Trafficking Of Scheduled Drugs Resulting In Death, a Class A crime.

The victim, who was not identified, died from a lethal overdose of heroin, fentanyl and methamphetamine on November 2, Caribou Police said in a media release.

Jenson was taken to the Aroostook County Jail where he will await arraignment. Police said at the time of his arrest, bail was not allowed. Other charges may follow.

The investigating officer is Kegan McPherson of the Caribou Police Department.
