More Good News at the Pumps

Northern New England gas prices continue to decline.

GasBuddy.com's latest survey showed the average price of a gallon of gas in Maine in the past week dropped by 6.3 cents to $2.51. Prices in Presque Isle Monday morning were at $2.74 a gallon at most stations.

Pump prices in New Hampshire fell 3.4 cents to $2.56 a gallon over the previous week. In Vermont, gas prices declined 2.2 cents from last week to $2.64.

Prices across the nation, meanwhile, have gone down 2.2 cents to $2.53 a gallon on average. From a month ago, that's 8.3 cents higher and 31.4 cents higher than at the same time last year.
