The Kennebec Journal reports Kennebec County Sheriff Ryan Reardon says Christopher Graham was riding the bike Saturday afternoon in the procession to honor Antonio Balcer.

Authorities say Graham's motorcycle hit the back of a truck. He was pronounced dead on the way to the hospital.

Authorities say Antonio Balcer and his wife, Alice, were killed in their Winthrop home on Oct. 31. Their son, 17-year-old Andrew Balcer, faces murder charges in their deaths.

Sergeant Galen Estes wrote in a report that Graham and Antonio Balcer belonged to the same motorcycle club. About 50 members participated in the procession.
