Fenway Ready For Opener [PHOTOS]
Following a winter that included an ice rink and monster slide, Fenway park is nearly ready for the home opener on April 4th.Tim Samway captured these photos on Tuesday of Fenway which has received new turf over the entire infield and outfield. As you will see in the following photos, Dave Mellor and the rest of the grounds crew has to use creative methods to prevent the turf from dying in the cold after its installation and from damaged caused by geese.
