Michael Quinn is encouraging candidates not to wait until the very last moment to file their papers so there will be time to address any last-minute concerns which may need correction.

“Potential candidates should leave themselves enough time to correct errors or clarify details.”

As of Thursday, 103 of the 105 municipalities holding elections have names submitted for various council positions; 37 of the 68 district education council positions have at least one candidate offering; and 15 of the 16 regional health authority positions are being contested.

A list of candidates is available on the Elections NB website and is updated as candidates file their nomination papers.
