No matter where you live, if you're thinking of people that live in another state, you probably have some preconceived ideas about them, whether they're true or not.

Some people who live away think they've got the residents of Maine nailed down to a T. But what they think about us is not altogether true.

    L.L.Bean is like our Nordstrom's

L.L. Bean is a pretty big deal in Maine. Located in Freeport, they ship out all over the world and they have great stuff. However, it's not like if we don't go once a week we're all going to lose the victory. That would be wicked bad!

    Every Other Word Is "Wicked"

There is a lot of truth that Mainers like to use the word "wicked" to describe something really cool. But every other word? Not so much. Mainers know how to use the word properly like, wicked cool, wicked hot and wicked funny. But don't be surprised if you hear someone use 'wicked.' It's a wicked cool word.

Ayut! We're all lumberjacks running around in our flannel shirts, flannel jammies and yes, our flannel underwear. Not! We do like to wear clothes from Walmart and maybe even Abercrombie & Fitch too.
