The following tragic story is a lie.  When I was a kid we had a cocker spaniel named ‘Chico.’  We loved that dog and took care of it as best we could.  Although we lived in town, we had a potato field near our backyard and every once in a while we let him run loose.  He would always come back.

So my ‘almost’ teenage daughter got on me the other day about the fact that she never has any friends over.  I told her what I thought the reasons were.  She didn’t like them.

Rebecca was told, "Give your newborn water when he wakes up in the middle of the night so that he will learn that it wasn't worthwhile to wake up."  Or you could heed the advice Kymberly got about squirting her kids with water when they misbehave.  Yes, just like a pet.

Townsquare Media and TAMC Aroostook Pediatrics are teaming up to bring you Kids Fest, this Saturday, April 6th at The Crow’s Nest in Presque Isle.  In the spirit of Kids Fest, and as a Dad of four, I thought I’d pose the question – Which is easier to raise, boys or girls?
