Woman Dies After Being Pinned Between Car & Utility Pole

A woman has died after being pinned between a utility pole and a car Wednesday morning on Curtis Road in Etna.

The Penobscot County Sheriff’s Office said the woman was pronounced dead by emergency responders when they arrived at the scene. The incident took place on private property around 10:22 am.

Her name and age were not released. Officials said they are not releasing additional information at this time.
