The National Weather Service has posted a Winter Storm Warning from Caribou to Millinocket until 8 p.m. Sunday with up to 14 inches of snow possible.  Environment Canada, meanwhile, says a snowfall warning remains in effect for the Woodstock area and Carleton County, New Brunswick.

Blizzard warnings are posted for the Fredericton, St. Stephen, Saint John and Moncton areas.  The Winter Storm Warnings extend to the Bangor and Augusta areas as well.

In Aroostook County, snowfall totals are predicted to be between 8 -14 inches in southern sections, 6-10 inches in the Presque Isle/Caribou areas and 3-5 inches in the far north.  Forecasters say Carleton County, New Brunswick can expect 15-25 centimeters of snow. Fredericton could see  up to 30 centimeters.

Strong winds will lead to blowing snow and make travel difficult across the region through Sunday evening.
