I love to watch movies with my kids every once in a while. Over the weekend we were searching for something we could watch as a family. My kids range in age from 13 down to 4, so it needed to be something that wasn't too childish but would also hold my youngest son's attention. Do you know how difficult that is?

Anyway, there was nothing on the DVR or coming up on satellite so I went downstairs to my DVD collection. We haven't used the DVD player in a while. Still, I couldn't find anything we all could watch. So I went to my VHS tapes. Yes, I still own a VCR. It's in the basement, but it's there for emergencies. I was able to find something that would tide them over, but it got me thinking. I wonder how many people still have a VCR and VHS tapes.

If you still have one, why is that? Do you keep it 'just in case?' Have you not transferred your VHS home movies onto DVD yet but you're sure you'll get around to it? Is there a movie you have on VHS that you can't find anywhere else so you have to keep the VCR for this one movie? Call the show at 764-ROCK or tell us on Facebook. Inquiring minds want to know.
