Thursday, August 22nd, the Boston Red Sox and Kansas City Royals will resume their game from August 7th, that was suspended because of weather, with the game tied 4-4 in the top of the 10th inning. The Red Sox announced that fans 18 and younger will be admitted free of charge, on August 22nd, and all other fans will be admitted for just $5.00. All proceeds from the $5.00 admission will go to the Jimmy Fund.

Tickets to the game are general admission and must be purchased online HERE prior to Thursday, August 22nd to gain entry. Fans who attended the game on August 7th may use their ticket stub to enter and will be guaranteed to sit in their original seats.

There will be a special kid-friendly $1.00 menu that includes Fenway Franks, cotton candy, popcorn, chips, cracker jacks, candy and Hood Sport Bars. Menu items at half price include chicken tenders, fries, soda, water and Del's Frozen Lemonade.

Fans are guaranteed to see at least 3 outs, if the Royals are retired and the Red Sox win on a walk-off homer.

Game time is at 1:05 with the gates opening at 11AM. After the game, children will have the opportunity to run the bases!

If you can't go to Fenway, you can listen to the game on  AM 1370 WDEA in the Ellsworth and Bar Harbor area and The Rock 101.9 FM, WOZI in Presque Isle. The pregame on August 22nd will start at 1PM
