University of Maine at Presque Isle to Hold Summer Blood Drive

The need is great and you can help! All you have to do it donate blood!

The need for blood is even greater in the summer months because more people are active and are outdoors doing things, and accidents happen. That's why the University of Maine at Presque Isle, in conjunction with the American Red Cross, will host its summer American Red Cross Blood Drive on Monday, June 29th, from 11:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. in the Campus Center’s Multi-Purpose Room.

All presenting donors will receive a ticket to the Northern Maine Fair and a chance to win 3 tickets to a Red Sox home game.

Members of the campus and community are invited and encouraged to participate in this free event.

If donors wish to reserve a time to make their donation, they should call 1-800-GIVE LIFE or sign up at the online appointment schedule at www.newenglandblood.org.  Just click on “Search by Zip Code” and enter 04769.
