The Campbellton RCMP executed a search warrant Friday at 12 Subway Street as the result of several complaints about the business.

Police seized a substantial amount of what is believed to be marijuana, along with edible marijuana products and cash, according to Constable Hans Ouellette.

A 33-year-old man from Dieppe and a 22-year-old man from Riverview were arrested and later released.

Both men are scheduled to appear in provincial court in Campbellton on June 5 to answer drug-related charges.

RCMP say they are continuing their investigation.

Currently, the only government-approved medical marijuana dispensaries in New Brunswick are in the Moncton, Saint John and Fredericton areas.
