Man Charged with Trafficking Following Perth-Andover Drug Bust
A 27-year-old man from Tobique First Nation has been charged with drug trafficking and other offences in connection a drug seizure in Perth-Andover.
West District RCMP executed a search warrant last Wednesday at a residence on Fort Road and seized quantities of what was believed to be methamphetamine, cocaine, and prescription medication.
Philip Bennett Sappier appeared in Woodstock Provincial Court on Monday and was charged with possession of methamphetamine, cocaine and codeine for the purpose of trafficking. Sappier was also charged with failure to comply with a firearms prohibition order and failure to comply with a probation order.
He was remanded into custody, and is scheduled to return to court on Tuesday, December 10 to enter a plea.
RCMP say the investigation is continuing.
