Bonjour! With the upcoming World Acadian Congress drawing near, the legendary Chris O’Brien wants to help you brush up on your French. Get your accents ready for an in-depth lesson on common words you’ll need for the month long celebration in northern Maine, New Brunswick, and Quebec.

SAINT DAVID - The official opening of an exhibit of colorful and original hooked rugs artwork depicting Acadia's rich religious heritage will take place at 5 p.m., Thursday, August 8, in Saint David Catholic Church in Saint David.

Folks from all over the country and world will be flocking to Aroostook County for the start of the 2014 World Acadian Congress that will be held right in our area!

The Opening Ceremonies of the 2014 World Acadian Congress begin August 8 in Maine, New Brunswick, and Québec. There will be many events for all ages celebrating Acadian heritage and culture. We want to know if you'll be participating in this year's congress?
