It was an exciting night in Woodstock last evening, as a new Miss New Brunswick was crowned!

A successful half-court shot was made during the girls varsity high school basketball game held in Fort Fairfield vs. Washburn on Wednesday, January 28th.

Congratulations to Jeffery Townsend of Presque Isle who scored the grand prize in our 'Luxury of Sturgis' contest and will be heading out to Buffalo Chip for the 74th Annual Motorcycle rally and 5 days of VIP treatment.

If you've been through Presque Isle at all lately, you may have noticed the many snow sculptures in the area.  The reason being that the community was challenged to make creative snow sculptures with an international flair as part of the 2014 IBU Youth/Junior Biathlon World Championships. The winner would take home a $500 grand prize!
